Our Service Team is the heart of AIR Communities! Service Technicians make our communities a great place to live by providing outstanding service to our residents. To say thank you, we provide our service technicians with the opportunity to make one of our beautiful communities their home!

Job Responsibilities:
- With minimal guidance, you will complete resident requested repairs and service (i.e., troubleshoot HVAC equipment, install/repair complex plumbing, troubleshoot/replace electrical components, install/repair/replace household appliances, etc.)
- You will provide functional/technical direction and training to lower-level Service Technicians and support the development of technical skills
- May assist with managing vendor quality
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in some form of facilities or building environment.
- Proficient skills in all trades OR expert level in at least two trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
As an AIR Service Technician, you must have:
- A reliable mode of transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, 7-day work weeks (depending on community needs and seasonality), and on-call shifts (at least one week a month)
- Comfort with physical activity as you must be able and willing to move heavy equipment and machinery
- Ability to read, write, and speak English

Additional Information

- Expected pay rate of $23.00-$26.00 per hour. You will be provided a pay rate that is in line with your skills and experience as they relate to the requirements of the job.
