Come and build your career with a company that cares about you! We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a 154 unit privately-owned property in North Mesa. We have been in business for over 20 years and are looking for the absolute best candidate to join our team environment and grow with the company.
What we are looking for:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the maintenance field.
Proficient with drywall repairs, plumbing, electrical, painting, basic carpentry, troubleshooting appliances, irrigation and pool maintenance
An energetic, motivated individual with ability to work effectively in a very fast paced environment
Strong attention to detail, with ability to multi-task and prioritize
Dedicated to helping customers
Can follow direction, show initiative and problem solve
Must be capable of working independently
Own your own hand tools
Have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and vehicle
Ability to work on-call evenings and weekends on a rotating basis
Successfully pass a drug, criminal, and background check
Must be HVAC certified in accordance with Federal Laws and Requirements
Essential duties:
Work with the rental office in the scheduling of units to be refurbished.
Supervise outside contractors related to the refurbishing of units
Supervise contractors and maintenance tech related to other maintenance aspects of the community
Schedule or perform all necessary repairs needed to prepare apartments for new residents
Ensure the completion of all service requests in a timely manner
Order necessary supplies and parts within budgetary guidelines
Strive to perform maintenance duties in most cost-effective manner
Adhere to monthly preventative maintenance schedule
Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
Interact professionally with residents, contractors, and suppliers
