Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and authorization.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Perform weekly check runs and initiate electronic payments, in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end closing processes, providing necessary reports and documentation.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and streamline accounts payable processes.
- Assist in implementing and enforcing accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and compliance requirements.
- A minimum of 4 years Accounts Payable Specialist of experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or ERP system is a plus.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Pay Details: $27.00 to $32.00 per hour
