What would you do? The AP Clerk is responsible for closing Purchase Orders (PO's), inputting invoices, reaching out to vendors for invoices/statements, researching PO's, doing AP special research projects, and paying bills in assigned software. They are responsible for nurturing and cultivating a positive culture and work environment that aligns with the mission and values of the organization.
What will you be responsible for?
AP Duties
- Assists Accounts Payable Lead with assigned AP functions.
- Scan invoices, obtain approvals, code invoices accurately and timely, recording of all AP transactions and payments.
- Uses company software to look up POs/invoices for our companies and compares invoices to accounting software to adjust as needed.
- Reconciliation of vendor and credit card statements for payments
- Backs up all positions, assisting with their duties, in the office during vacation periods, illness, or when the office is in a peak load situation.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
Do you have the necessary education & experience?
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Associate degree, equivalent formal accounting training, or work experience in accounting is preferred.
- 1-3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
- 1 year of general office experience.

- Base compensation, Hourly/ non-Exempt: $17.50-$21.55 DOE.
