Strategy Consulting Internship at Aon
Aon invites high-reaching rising seniors to join our 2024 Summer Internship Program June 3rd through August 9th within the industry leading Strategy and Technology Group (STG) Consulting teams in New York and Chicago. Aon helps our clients navigate a constantly evolving market environment to drive profitable and balanced growth and business results. We also derive outstanding and compelling insights into the sources of competitive advantage in our industry. Most importantly we help our clients to turn insights into practical actions and into tangible returns.
The Strategy and Technology Group (STG) brings together insight and software solutions to help clients make better business decisions. Through our tailored discovery approach, we deliver highly customized solutions with a focus on exploring profitable opportunities, boosting enterprise efficiency and driving financial health to help our clients build and manage more resilient companies. Interns will gain valuable experience assisting and working with our clients to understand their objectives, address their challenges, develop a deep understanding of market conditions and issues, and create strategies that drive growth opportunities and competitive market advantages.

What the day will look like
- Develop consulting and insurance IQ by participating in formal and informal training opportunities
- Gather and contribute research on industry developments, client activity, macro trends, etc.
- Analyze 3rd party and proprietary Aon transactional data
- Convert insights into client value by synthesizing findings in the form of PowerPoint presentations for project delivery or business development purposes
- Work collaboratively and communicate clearly in a team environment with colleagues and external stakeholders

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Great teammate with independent work capability
- Involvement in extracurricular activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in preferred majors: math, finance, economics, Strategy Consulting
- Rising senior, graduating between December 2024 – June 2025

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $24.50 to $26.50 per hour. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
Aon offers a benefits package for temporary and seasonal employees who will work 20 or more hours per week including: medical, dental, and vision insurance at the employee's expense, critical illness insurance, 10 Company holidays per calendar year (paid, if eligible), paid sick leave as provided under state and local law, and a 401(k) savings plan with employer contributions. Eligibility for benefits are governed by the applicable plan documents and policies.
