Interns will participate in one or more of the following activities: Document Achieve, Lab Maintenance, Reagent order and labeling.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Lab Maintenance
- Document Achieve
- Reagent order and labeling
- Checks inventory expiration dates and demonstrates ability to evaluate consumables (reagent/supply) inventory to prevent shortages
- Assists with pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical test processes
- Provides operational support for laboratory activities including (Ex. media/buffer preparation, cleaning activities, and equipment/materials staging/ Aseptic Technique).
- Works under close supervision from supervisor or senior personnel.
- Performs support functions to the Analytical Chemistry team
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Contributes to the overall operations and to the achievement of departmental goals
- Perform job specific tasks in compliance with applicable Regulations, International Standards, and WuXi AppTec Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Thorough understanding of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Manufacturing Practices
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience / Education
- 0-1 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Actively working towards degree in field relevant to this position
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Proficient in Oral & Written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook)
