It Business Systems Analyst

The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration and support of our Yardi platforms and various systems in support of the Harmony business which include Property Management, Accounting, Marketing/CRM, and Senior IQ business intelligence. The position reports to the Chief Technology Officer. Responsibilities include evaluating, documenting, and maintaining systems, keeping them in sync and up to date, controlling user access and permissions, and keeping the system compliant.

This role will work across all business functions in Harmony Senior Services to implement, document, test, and support the Yardi application systems and for the organization. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to analyze information requirements, develop database specifications and enforce database standards in accordance with current existing federal, state, and local standards. In addition, you should have a technical and analytical background and way of thinking while also being able to explain complex concepts to non-technical users.

Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• Champions the values and culture of Harmony Operations Services while fostering an environment that makes customer service a top priority.
• Responsible for system administration of Yardi and other systems as necessary; including maintenance of user security groups, new user set-up and security management, and general user security.
• Works directly with business teams to capture customization requests, consulting with business users on Yardi functionality, capturing technical requirements as well as business use cases and building project plans for implementation, including prioritization.
• Responsible for vendor management, including submitting and tracking open cases with Yardi to ensure efficient resolution, tracking and advocating for software enhancements as needed, and attending vendor conferences.
• Manages system upgrades, including testing of existing business processes to ensure efficient rollouts.
• Oversees and completes system customization or configuration, including monitoring of third-party consultant work.
• Develops ETL processes, extraction of data using SQL, and the development of queries for business analysis and the Excel based analysis of data.
• Provides reports and supports report development on a regular basis and/or supports others in the creation and distribution of reports.
• Development and setup of Yardi SeniorIQ business intelligence platform to automate business analysis and reporting.
• Sets up and configures systems for new entities and business enhancements.
• Designs and implements processes and/or technology solutions to improve operations.
• Develops and maintains documentation and standards.
• Serves as the point person for data-related tasks on assigned projects.
• Writes alerts and hosts webinars regarding new/changing technologies, systems, or standards, and reiterating existing ones.
• Works to complete assignments/troubleshooting/assistance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by management. 

• 3+ years of experience implementing relevant Yardi modules or administering Yardi required.
• 5+ years of experience in business and data analysis
• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, finance or a related discipline or commensurate work experience required.
• 2-3 years of experience working at an advanced level with core Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required.
• Expert level knowledge of Yardi database structure and Yardi modules required.
• SQL query knowledge, advanced reporting writing using BI systems, and ETL experience with import/export tools required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels internally and with external vendors.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical design skills with a focus with attention to detail.=
• Ability to quickly learn and understand Financial processes, requirements, and the current technology stack.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
