SUMMARY
This person will be part of the team responsible for budgeting, reviewing critical agreements and tracking key performance metrics for a NYSE listed REIT. This individual will work closely with the Vice President of Finance and other key business stakeholders.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Prepare the annual budget: work across departments to update and upload budget files
· Research and analyze department budgets and actual vs. budget variances
· Prepare monthly operations reports on various aspects of the company
· Create financial models in excel to analyze leases, loans, agreements and contracts
· Review real estate documents (lease agreements, 3rd party contracts, abstracts)
· Assist in all other Finance responsibilities and other special projects
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
· Demonstrates ability and motivation to learn quickly
· Strong working knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of MRI a plus
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product
· Ability to establish and effectively manage relationships with company stakeholders
· Self-motivated enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment under tight deadlines
· Strong organization and time management skills to permit managing multiple projects at once
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
