Ready to join the Credit Risk Management team at T-Mobile as an Analyst focused on Credit Risk strategy? This role wears multiple hats - we value your unique blend of analytical skills, project management finesse, and exceptional presentation abilities.
As a team, we work independently or collaboratively within a dedicated group of analysts. Together, we'll uncover credit segmentation opportunities using innovative statistical methods, driving improvements to our credit decision processes, policies, collections strategies, and fraud prevention measures. Partner within members of Credit Risk team and organizational parters in T-Mobile for the deployment, analysis and tracking of new credit strategies to manage risk.
In this role, you will manipulate large datasets, extracting key insights and communicating actionable recommendations with clarity and precision. Actively participate in projects at every stage, from idea generation to development and implementation.

Responsibilities:
- Apply statistical segmentation techniques to identify new opportunities
- Extract, load and transform data from multiple sources for statistical, reporting and ad-hoc analysis
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of credit polices to meet given objectives
- Develop predictive financial and analytical models using the appropriate statistical methodologies, including trend and regression analysis
- Participate and perform the analysis of new data and statistical products by external vendors
- Work with credit bureau and alternative credit data
- Drive and deliver work output with full awareness and adherence to project timelines
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or related degree required
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
- Intermediate or higher proficiency in SAS or other statistical/analytical programming languages required
- Superior computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint required
- Basic proficiency in SQL, C++, Python, R or other statistical software packages highly preferred.
- 3+ years of quantitative analytic modeling experience, Credit Risk management or comparable process management experience preferred
- Superior communication (spoken and written), organization and presentation skills required
- Superior time management skills and awareness of project management methods required
- Prior consumer risk management experience preferred
- Wireless / Telecom experience preferred
