Responsibilities:
RIC
- Manage and coordinate generation of North America monthly MI pack
- Liaise with UK (RFB and LBCM) partners on system reconciliations, RWA queries, limits management and data quality
- Generate and implement new insights for enhanced local portfolio reporting and controls
- Assist Head of Credit with the annual Fed examination and other portfolio reviews
- Local Project Management involvement as required
- Help to run portfolio of new and existing clients by undertaking credit analysis, due diligence, control and exposure monitoring processes.
- Support the process to ensure sound asset quality by monitoring of each counterparty via the annual renewal process (more frequent reviews are required for medium and high risk counterparties) - together with regular management information, trends in performance, news flow etc to ensure the early identification of deteriorating credit quality and recommendation of an appropriate course of action.
- Build knowledge of the sectors and areas of business where credit involvement and responsibilities are held as well as maintaining an appreciation of the wider business markets and credit implications.
MR
- Supervise Market risk against the set parameters and limits, liaise with key local and UK MR collaborators
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
- 3 years of experience desired in a relevant field or in similar financial institution
- Advanced degree in relevant field from recognized university
- Professional certifications relevant to the role are a plus
Key skills and knowledge required:
- Proven analytical ability and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment, innovate and to prioritize conflicting demands
- Some understanding of the relevant credit sectors, including the recent market trends and developments
- The partner leadership skills to build partnerships with key partners both in US and UK
