Job description

The Corporate Physical Security Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding the assets, personnel, and operations of the organization. This role involves monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing enterprise-wide Physical Security measures to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, and company assets. The Corporate Physical Security Analyst collaborates with various departments to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.

This is a hybrid role to either be located in our Grand Prairie, TX or Winston Salem, NC locations. 15% overnight travel required

Primary Accountabilities:

Administrative (20%)

Access Control:

  • Administer access control systems.
  • Monitor and audit access logs to ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Investigate and resolve access-related incidents or breaches.
  • Security Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and investigations.
    • Document security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
    • Generate security reports for management and regulatory compliance.

Operational (40%)

  • Surveillance and Monitoring:
    • Operate and maintain security surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and alarms.
    • Monitor real-time security feeds and respond to suspicious activities or incidents.
    • Review recorded footage to investigate security breaches or incidents.
    • Monitor and maintain the help tickets systems related to security issues or incidents, and escalate all items to the appropriate personnel according to established procedure.
  • Incident Response:
    • Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
    • Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services in the event of security incidents.
    • Receive security-related incident calls and create incident reports utilizing case management software.
    • Conduct post-incident analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Security Training and Awareness:
    • Provide security awareness training to employees and contractors.
    • Promote a culture of security awareness throughout the organization.
    • Conduct drills and exercises to test security preparedness.

Analytical (30%)

  • Security Assessment:
    • Conduct regular security assessments of corporate facilities, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending improvements.
    • Analyze security risks and threats to develop mitigation strategies.
    • Review and update security protocols in response to changing threats and risks.
    • Identify opportunities to drive innovation and improvement using new technologies, capabilities, processes and procedures.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate with security vendors and contractors to ensure the effectiveness of security systems.
    • Evaluate and select security service providers when necessary.

Strategic (10%)

  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay updated on relevant security regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Ensure that security measures align with industry standards and legal obligations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related discipline) required. Advanced degrees and certifications (CPP, CISSP) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of proven experience in Corporate Physical Security, law enforcement or related field; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential               functions of the position
  • Strong understanding of security technologies, such as access control systems, CCTV, alarm systems, and incident response tools.
  • 15% overnight travel required to various Inmar sites and facilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
