Job Summary The Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 is a technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized expertise in specific areas such as problem-solving using analysis of unique issues/problems without precedent. This role applies extensive knowledge of ambulatory care clinics clinical, regulatory, and operational practices to provide a wide range of advanced analytical, statistical, and clinic support critical to the day-to-day operations of the Academic Clinic departments. The Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 will be responsible to manage programs directly related to the clinic's core clinical missions. Reporting directly to the clinic Practice Manager, this role, at the manager's discretion, will be responsible for the implementation of new policies and practices, new IT practices/initiatives, and other mission critical initiatives as they arise from the Hospital. The Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 is responsible for ensuring clinic compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
The Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 will assess clinic processes and operational data to identify trends. Based on these findings, the Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 will recommend methods and processes to improve patient access, operational efficiency, and productivity. This role will also be responsible to coordinate clinic and provider productivity metrics; apply findings to recommend operational, financial, and quality improvements. Build relationships internally and collaborates effectively on cross-functional teams. Prepares polished, grammatically correct emails, memos, and documents. Role model for professional telephone skills and conversational style.
The Ambulatory Administrative Coordinator 4 will work closely with the clinic's Practice Manager and Medical Director to ensure program activities integrate with practice operations and physician workflows.

Minimum Qualifications
- Proven experience with business reporting and statistics.
- Proven experience leading IT implementations at the clinic level
- Advanced skills utilizing spreadsheets and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Proven experience with researching, compile, elicit, and summarize complex information from a variety of sources to prepare reports and information clearly and concisely.
- Experience analyzing data and presenting alternative solutions.
- Demonstrated analytical skills to utilize EMR and related database.
- Experience to effectively document and illustrate business workflow processes.
- Excellent writing skills to assist in the creation of written policies and procedures for clinical functions.
- Spreadsheet skills and ability to analyze, sort, and accurately report findings on data sets.
- Ability to independently prioritize and coordinate multiple work assignments under pressure of deadlines and frequent interruption.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people; ability to communicate with confidence and discretion where matters of confidentiality are concerned. Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to set priorities; be detailed-oriented; attempt difficult and unfamiliar project assignments; and to respond with flexibility to requests for assistance in problem solving and organizational development.
- Ability to research, compile, elicit, and summarize information from a variety of sources to prepare reports and information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent organization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong prior experience working with an EMR (EPIC) and healthcare clinical information system is preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience working in healthcare setting.
- Ability to interpret and implement UC policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in business, education, healthcare management, or related field preferred.
