Job Description


The individual will work closely with product development and operations to continue the mission in curating a world-class Alternative Investments platform. The individual will oversee the Alternative Investments distribution function, where the primary responsibility is to partner alongside Account Officers to provide expertise and guidance for the alternative investment offerings available on the platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Build new trusted partnerships for the bank as an Alternative Investment Specialist, providing guidance across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, private real assets, mutual funds, DSTs, and direct investment opportunities
  • Host monthly workshops, educational seminars, and client meetings
  • Lead proactive outreach to new AI consumers at the bank, ensuring a thorough understanding of the product suite and develop best practices for implementation
  • Assist in answering inbound requests regarding product clarifications, fund updates, performance inquiries, as well as other matters to enhance Account Officers’ and client experience
  • Create product summaries, talking points and presentation materials for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Work across the Bank with the product development and operations teams on demand assessments, marketing materials, and broader platform enhancements
  • Provide strategic and tactical advice in all aspects of the development and implementation of the Company’s alternative investment offerings in an effort to scale the business more effectively and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree. MBA, CFA, CAIA preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience in a bank or Financial Services industry and at least 7 years of Alternative Investments experience in a bank or within a private wealth management firm
  • Strong Knowledge of intermediaries and third-party distribution platforms
  • Series 7 and 66 licenses required; 24 highly desired
  • Ability to represent the bank professionally with internal and external contacts
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Ability to explain complex information clearly
  • Familiarity with Data Analytics, Reporting and Automation Initiatives
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point


Compensation

The expected annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $200,000 at the start of employment. A salary offer is determined on an individualized basis, taking into consideration factors such as an individual’s skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package also includes eligibility for an annual bonus, medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision plans, life and disability insurance, employee wellness program, retirement and savings plans with employer contributions, generous holiday and paid time off schedules, parental leave, and tuition reimbursement.
