Crave a challenge that is also rewarding? This is an operational support role to an active fighter unit; you will be responsible for the security and integrity of our systems that keep our jets flying.
It takes more than steel, advanced electronics and engine thrust to make the F-35 Lightning II, the world's fifth generation fighter, take flight. It is the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) that gives F-35 Lightning II operators the ability to plan, to maintain, to plan and sustain its systems over the life of the air vehicle. ALIS provides the IT backbone and capabilities to support current and future Warfighters across the U.S. and allied military services.
As critical members of the F35 Operations Team, all ALIS administrators must be able to:
• Obtain and maintain Special Access Program clearance required for program access
• This is an operational support role to active fighter units. Administrators must be willing and able to travel for military deployments/detachments (ship and/or shore) for extended periods of time dependent upon operational needs.
• Capable of working various shift hours to include weekends to support customer mission requirements.

A Day in the Life:

This individual will perform as JSF F-35 Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS) Squadron Manager at Burlington ANG, VT. This position will interface with customer, ALIS administrators, SMEs, and support teams to oversee and manage day-to-day technical priorities, operational issues, training, and ensure processes and checklists are properly administered and documented. Along with ALIS administration duties this individual will also be responsible for L-code personnel management of ALIS administrators at this location (LM Commit, expense report and timecard approval, employee retention and training). Individual must have a System Administrator, Database Administrator (DBA) and/or MPE background with ALIS administration experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Interacting daily with customers/users and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for the ALIS product suite
• Perform routine ALIS administrator tasks
• Maintaining smooth, secure operation of multi-user computer systems through coordination with peers, Tier2 and engineers
• Training ALIS Administrators/users on the ALIS system as needed
• Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis
• Coordinating equipment installations with enterprise and local customers
• Designing and publishing team schedule
• Interface with customers, security personnel and ALIS management on a daily basis
• Task prioritization for all administrators assigned to the squadron
• Ensure administrators have proper tools/training to complete tasks
• Plan upgrades, downtime, TDYs and other work during off hours as needed

Basic Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Secret security clearance with investigation within the last 6 years

• Ability to obtain and retain DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)

• Experience in System, Database, Network or Mission Planning administration

• Experience in IT leadership/management

• Project Management experience
• Strong business acumen, influence management and whole systems thinking skills
• Experience Troubleshooting Web Applications
• JBOSS (WildFly) Application Server Familiarity
• Disaster recovery: backups and restores of physical servers, virtual machines, databases and network equipment
• Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Knowledge of COMSEC
• Applying updates, anti-virus/anti-spyware updates, and patch updates
• Use of Splunk Log Aggregation and Dashboard
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator
• Installing Oracle Critical Patches, reviewing tables and DBA views for issues, and locating user session data
• Importing large data volumes and managing large Oracle and SQLServer databases
• Prior Control Account Manager (CAM) experience
• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin products and processes, to include the JSF ALIS hardware and software

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Colorado Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $97,500 - $186,900 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $112,100 - $211,300 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
