Description
The Syracuse Regional Airport Authority has an exciting opportunity for a High School student from the Syracuse City School District CTE program to join our team as a temporary part-timeAirport Operations Intern in the Summer of 2023 for a paid internship. This position includes the opportunity to work on projects in the following areas:

• Intern would receive overall knowledge on Airport Operations/ Management and how an airport operates.
• Projects to include:
  • Inventory Management
  • Asset Management
  • Standard Operating Procedures and Flow Chart design
  • Data Entry

Program Start Date: Tuesday, July 11, 2023
Program End Date: Thursday, August 17, 2023
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (18 hours per week)
Supervisor: Airport Operations Officer
Requirements

• Must be a student at Syracuse City School District, enrolled in Career & Technical Education (CTE) Program
• Entering senior year of High School in the Fall, or graduating senior
• Interested in Airport Operations or related field
• Driven, hard-working, reliable, trainable, and get along well with others
• Previous computer experience, preferably in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Must have student working papers, and proper identification and employment authorization required to pass security clearance to work at a commercial airport

Salary Description
15.00/hour
