AI Strategy & Planning Director
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The AI Strategy & Planning Director is responsible for IT strategic planning, analysis, and the execution of IT functional plans to ensure growth and performance aligns with the organization's strategic intent.

How you will make an impact:

•    Initiate and lead AI Strategy across Carelon for consistent alignment with the Digital organizations and Elevance Health
•    Formulate and implement AI strategies
•    Steer and deliver AI strategies and guidelines defined by senior technology leadership and product management
•    Collaborate with Payment Integrity leaders to ensure compatibility of AI operations with ongoing Digital initiatives for effective prioritization, management, and task sequencing
•    Observe and research AI-focused technological and business trends, utilizing both quantitative data and qualitative performance measures to provide strategic advice to senior management
•    Develop annual and multi-year strategic plans to align with corporate and CIO-level visions and objectives
•    Facilitate external research and involve partners from various Carelon departments and the wider enterprise for outlining potential strategic initiatives for funding or productive support
•    Employ forecast models and scenario analysis for performance evaluation and formulation of action plans to leverage emerging market and tech opportunities
•    Create executive reports that decipher complex technical issues
•    Monitor budget and ensure accountability for AI Programs.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field of study and a minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Collection and Analysis, IT Consulting, IT Performance Management, Strategy or Financial Planning, Business Intelligence and Analytics, or Business Process Design; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

•    MBA
•    Six Sigma Certification is desired.
•    PMP Certification 
•    Experience with the following technology is strongly preferred: AWS, GCP, MS SQL, Snowflake Hadoop, Python, API Dev, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, SSRS, SSIS
