Positions: Girls/Boys Track and Field Assistant Coach (6th-grade - 8th-grade athletes)
Dates: Looking to fill ASAP. The season begins on March 12th.
Overview: Candidate will assume the role of an athletic coach at Bromley East Charter School, who coaches students 6th - 8th grades. The coach reports to the Athletic Director who oversees the athletic program.
Reports To: Athletic Director
Pay Range: $750 (for the entire season)

Responsibilities:
Supervision and coaching of student athletes at all levels of the program.
Build sportsmanship, fitness, and excitement in students through effectively coaching cross country teams.
Coordinate with the Athletic Director for use of the field and facilities.
Work with Athletic Director and Assistant to the Athletic Director, parents, and coaches to schedule athletic departure times and provide transportation supervision.
Plan and host award banquets, camps and conditioning events.
Distribute and collect uniforms.
Communicate with the Athletic Director about student athletes’ needs, incidents, and all other concerns related to the program.
Communicate with coaching staff, athletes, parents, and community.
Will follow league, district, and CHSAA policies and regulations.
Provide accurate and feasible budget information to the Athletic Director.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Recommended that the applicants have previous coaching experience with middle school students.
Demonstrated success in coaching programs.
Knowledge of all aspects of the skills involved with this sport.
Strong communication and organizational skills including the ability to mediate arguments and give constructive criticism.
Excellent goal setting and team building skills
Applicants must be able to successfully pass a background check performed by the school.
