- Execute User Acceptance Testing
- Log incidents and issues
Production:
- Processes trade instructions to client custodians to ensure proper settlement of lending and reinvestment activity.
- Serves as a primary contact with a client's custodian and is responsible for the timely completion and reconciliation of trade settlements.
- Liaise with the Hub to ensure that the corporate actions and income events are processed thoroughly and in line with the operating agreement, in addition to performing 'follow the sun' tasks when the hub is closed during US hours.
- In daily contact with Borrowers and Repo counterparts, Investment Agents, and the Global Custody team to ensure settlement of tickets, resolve discrepancies and follow up on fails.
- Manage daily margin calls with brokers to ensure we have sufficient collateral.
- Perform compliance checks to verify that all repo purchased securities are permissible.
- Actively communicate with the Client/Investment manager on all issues and their resolutions.
- Manage and process the clients' reporting needs.
- Write operating procedures and implement controls.
- Always seek to improve and automate as much as possible the processes.
- Make sure at any given time that you are compliant with the BNP Paribas code of conduct.
Requirements
- 1/2 years of experience in a related role/field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Business
- Must have a strong knowledge of the Securities Lending US Domestic Market (DTCC & Fedwire)
- Must have some knowledge of Repo/Reverse Repo products and Collateral Management
- Must be team oriented, mature, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, is proactive and shows a sense of urgency
- Demonstrates ability to remain calm under pressure and communicate decisions to the manager
