To provide each guest with outstanding and personalized customer service, while providing facials, waxing, make-up & body treatments with high skill set.
Essential Job Functions:
- Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
- Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner.
- Holds a strong understanding of all skin types with the ability to analyze the skin and suggest treatments and retail products for home care.
- Must be able to work well with others and as a team.
- Participate and attend all education classes and staff meetings.
- Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members.
- Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices.
- Properly care for equipment and product used.
- Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings and services provided.
- Ability to compare the different services on the menu and customize facials or body treatment to meet the individual client’s needs.
- The ability to recommend and up-sell services.
- Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy
- Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately.
- Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education.
- Able to work unsupervised to a prolong period.
- Uphold all protocols for set-up, treatment provided and cleanliness of treatment rooms.
- Maintain a clean, safe, stocked, and well-organized work area.
- Maintains spa appearance, cleanliness a polished look and proper uniform standards.
- Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress. Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completed and passed State Board of Cosmetology.
- Two years’ Aesthetician experience in a hotel or resort.
- Fast paced environment. Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer skills. Must be able to work a close-knit environment with constant co-work involvement.
Physical, Mental & Environmental Demands:
- Able to lift up to 10 lbs. Able to stand for a long period of time (up to an average 9 hour shift).
