Aesthetician - Medical Spa

Job Description:

The aesthetician is responsible for performing BHRC’s non-invasive treatments for which they are legally qualified in a safe and effective manner in accordance with BHRC policies and procedures. Such treatments include but are not limited to: chemical peels, facials, HydraFacial and skin firming and contouring treatments. Aesthetician is required to conduct consultations and provide treatment and product recommendations appropriate for each patient and their desired outcome.

Job Duties, Responsibilities and Capabilities :

· Ability to quickly learn new products, techniques and/or equipment as they are obtained

· Conduct patient consultations to determine needs and recommend products/services to achieve their desired outcome

· Perform non-invasive treatments authorized and trained to perform.

· Promote the benefits of all BHRC products and services

· Prepare patients and treatment rooms for treatments and procedures when needed

· Conduct patient follow up calls and return patient calls in a timely manner

· Maintain patient confidentiality, including HIPAA and practice specific compliance guidelines

· Have the presence of mind to deal with difficult patients

· Educate patients on our product lines to assure an effective at home regimen

· Accurately record all treatments in EMR

Qualifications:

• Must be licensed in the State of Nevada as an Aesthetician in good standing
• Must be Laser Certified and/or have AE Certification.
• Demonstrate computer literacy including use of office EMR
• Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
• Must be comfortable and at ease working in a fast paced environment and have a track record of excellent customer service, problem solving and organizational skills and understanding of group process and teamwork.
• A minimum two (2) years’ experience with the following:
• Facials
• Aesthetic Lasers
• Micro-needling
• Chemical Peels
• Knowledge of skin and skin care products
• Maintaining and proper cleaning of equipment

o Aesthetician must be willing and able to work additional hours on occasion.

o Aesthetician may be asked to assist in BHRC sponsored special events, which may sometimes take place outside of normal work hours or at a location other than the spa.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

• Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
