Job Title: Aesthetician

Dept.: Dermatology Carrollwood (Tampa)

Job Summary: Performs cosmetic treatments and manages the medical record functions in the department.

Essential Functions of the Position:

• Performs cosmetic treatments/procedures
  • Assembles required paperwork and obtains consents
  • Performs peels
  • Performs facials
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments and medical equipment for cosmetics

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintains an organized and clean work area
• Directs incoming faxes and mail to correct staff members
• Oversees inventory of products
• Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Normal physical ability; able to sit for long periods, bend and lift 20 lbs. using proper body mechanics
• Normal concentration and normal complexity of decision making
• Normal level verbal and written communication skills
• Average ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Job Qualifications:

• High school senior or graduate or GED equivalent
• Licensed Aesthetician in the State of Florida
• High level of organizational skills
• Strong team player
• Basic computer proficiency
• Above average attention to detail
