Position Summary:
Join an energetic team with a good mix of laboratory time and inventory tracking time. The responsibilities of this position are to manually locate, cycle count, and to maintain the protein and antibody intermediates warehouse. We also prepare in-house product samples in a sterile cleanroom for the various teams on campus. This job includes dilution preparation, knowledge of labeling software, freezer equipment maintenance, and physical inventory. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assigning locations to protein/antibody intermediates in the warehouse
- Filling requests from bulk material for internal use
- Returning protein/antibody intermediates to the appropriate storage location.
- Performing breakdowns of protein/antibody intermediates
- Understand and follow appropriate standard operating procedures – Duties may include:
- May be required to be trained in chemical handling and hazards
- Label software and freezer equipment maintenance
- Safety procedures
- Adhere to regulatory requirements ex: ISO/GMP/IATA/DOT
- Preparing and maintaining dilution supplies
- Meeting quality expectations
- Maintaining location system accurately
- Accurately measuring and recording requested volumes
- Maintaining a sterile environment
- Cycle counts throughout the fiscal year and at fiscal year-end.
- Input of data and recording data accurately in counting software
- Follows company policies and practices as outlined in Handbook and follow guidelines regarding safety as outline in the AWAIR, Chemical Hygiene and Exposure Control manuals in accordance to the job.
- Ability to work in a scheduled rotation of duties with some work direction from supervisor.
- Demonstrated EPIC values in daily work.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 year of relevant experience
- Associate or Technical degree preferred with Up to 1 year of relevant experience
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as computer entry and/or typing skills are desirable.
- Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, be flexible with regard to weekly task assignments, and multi-task.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to move 25-30lbs via lifting/moving and overhead pushing/pulling motions
