Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Calibration Coordinatorto join our rapidly expanding team. As a member of the operations team, the Calibration Coordinator position performs a variety of routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department assigned and insures timely and accurat results under direct supervision.

Salary: $23-$30/hr

 

Responsibilities
  • Verify calibration certification data
  • Initiate and support corrective actions for out of tolerance conditions
  • Support calibration-related inquiries from lab personnel
  • Perform simple and complex calibrations (e.g. dimensional, force, alignment, temperature, dynamic verifications)
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned by the Calibration Supervisor
Skills / Qualifications

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will:

  • Experience interpreting calibration procedures and requirements required
  • Experience in test equipment maintenance a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with GAGE Track or other database software
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and measurement uncertainty principles
  • Familiarity with and ability to interpret Quality Management System accreditation standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 17025

 

NOTE:  This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.  U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
