Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist all guests in a helpful and courteous manner
- Communicate directions, prices and general information to guests
- Sell, process, and issue season passes.
- Assist guests with comment or complaints, handling situations in a calm and professional manner
- Treat all guest with courtesy and respect
- Answer all incoming telephone calls. Answer guest’s questions with accuracy while promoting the Island Waterpark in a positive and friendly manner
- Complete all required data entry for season pass system
- Operate point of sale/ camera system- ensure all operational procedures involving the system are being performed as required
- Verify all guests have ticket or pass which allows admission into the park
- Verify all season pass holders are using cards issued to them
- Communicate all required park information and instructions
- Assist in all procedures involving lost children
- Assist guest with maintaining a steady flow through the front gate and into the park
- Assist with glass and alcohol checks
- Sell and distribute daily/season parking permits
- Responsible for following all policies and procedures as outlined in park manuals
- Comply with the Island Waterpark dress code and grooming standards
- Responsible for maintaining an honest work environment, which includes reporting theft and dishonesty
- Perform all opening and closing duties as outlined by department manager/supervisor
- Keep work area clean, stocked and well organized
Skills
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- A high school diploma is a plus but not required
General Qualifications:
- May be required to stand for long periods of time
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- May be required to be exposed to direct sunlight and hot temperatures
- Must be able to multitask and be flexible in a fast-pace environment
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to communicate effectively
