Guest Relations Specialist
Experienced Customer Service/ Salesperson invited to join our growing team!
We are Vacation Rentals of Santa Barbara (VROSB), one of the longest established vacation rental companies in Santa Barbara! We are locally owned and operated, and manage ~75 fully-furnished rental properties in the Santa Barbara area. We strongly value our relationships with our owners, guests, and within our team.
For this position, we are looking for a Guest Relations Specialist who is a pro at multitasking, a clear communicator, and can serve our clients with compassion and professionalism.
Responsibilities for this position include:
- Quickly responding to all inquiries, bookings, and general requests of all guests
- Remaining the reliable point of contact for all guests
- Listening and responding to guest concerns with empathy, then clearly communicating with the VROSB team the situation and ensuring the guest is updated regularly
- Remaining in close communication with the rest of the VROSB team, guests, and housekeepers
Required skills for this position:
- Excellent phone and written communication skills are a MUST. Must be able to communicate professionally and effectively with guests.
- Ability to multitask well without losing sight of the details while maintaining a can-do attitude
- High level of organization
- Personable and friendly demeanor
- Team-player attitude
- Comfortable learning new technologies and programs
- Great interpersonal skills
- Customer service experience is a plus!
Hours:
- Every Thursday & Friday, and every third Saturday & Sunday
- 8 hour days ThF, 4-7 hr days on the weekends
- Approximately 18 - 28/hr weeks
