Key Responsibilities:
- General travel department administrative duties.
- Liaise with vendors and customers/stakeholders working closely with department agent during the event planning/group meetings process to ensure everything is in order.
- Assist department travel agents with miscellaneous travel duties; load hotel, car rentals, etc., in GDS system, call airlines, car service, hotels, as needed.
- Create spreadsheets for group meetings, etc. and manage the spreadsheet through each event.
- Support meeting/event coordinator as needed.
- Support department travel agents as needed.
- Department administrative duties as required.
- Assist in procuring hotel and car rental annual contracts.
- Monitor CDS cues when needed.
- Maintain event files and paperwork as needed.
- Assist reviewing and reconciling event meeting costs.
Skills and Experience:
- 2 Years relevant and progressive experience.
- Experience using GDS systems.
- Relevant Travel Industry experience.
- Exemplary communication skills.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
- Proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package.
