The primary role is providing technology, logistics, and planning support to law firm and corporate clients. Connect is a nationally sourced company, but optimal location is in one of our busy regions, including Texas, Delaware and California.
General Description:
The Office Manager will provide general administration to ownership team, HR duties and arrange business travel and logistical needs for our law firm and corporate clients, identifying the most cost-effective and efficient travel arrangements and making necessary reservations for accommodations, vendors, and onsite catering needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Provides HR assistance, general office administration and team support
- Creates proposals, letters, memos, and spreadsheets for clients
- Administers reconciliation reports for credit cards, expenses, etc.
- Researches and compares available travel and hotel accommodations to identify the best available option for each travel need.
- Prepares visual proposals of property comps and recommended options / contract reviews.
- Researches catering and restaurant options for onsite food services while on travel.
- When travel arrangements are within approved travel reasons and budget limits, makes all arrangements and reservations as requested.
- Prepares travel itineraries and distributes travel arrangements and schedules to all appropriate staff.
- Coordinates logistical needs for offsite office space and technology needs.
- Coordinates team expenses for processing reimbursements and invoices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must have at least 2-5 years in office setting or travel planning experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the travel industry.
- Preferred knowledge of corporate planning and/or law firm experience.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choices.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Proficient and high use with Excel and PowerPoint a big plus.
- Graphic design and/or marketing experience beneficial.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma required; some higher education preferred.
- Previous training and experience with hotel contracts and travel planning.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

As part of Connect’s requirements for 24/7 support services, this position does require long hours, and OPTIONAL travel and varying job activities with remote access and flexible scheduling. This position is an exempt position, with bonuses provided for billed time. This position reports to Connect Litigation owners. There are currently no direct reports to this position.
