Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 2 years of recent Administrative Support experience
- Must pass a federal background check (SF-85P)
- Ability to provide favorable credit history
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening

Duties include but not limited to:
The Junior Administrative Assistant provides Administrative Support services to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Enforcement, Philadelphia Regional Office.
- Answer and route telephone calls, greet callers, record accurate messages/and respond to comment, questions, or necessary follow-up. Assist the public or employees; greet visitors, answer routine questions, locate documents and files, and escort visitors to/from office.
- Schedule appointments and maintains monthly calendar, schedules meetings and conference rooms.
- Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare meeting schedules; attends meetings to record meeting minutes.
- Create and manage detailed and sometimes sensitive reports, spreadsheets, SharePoint data, and complex PowerPoint presentations, and lengthy reports that may contain PDFs, graphs, and other inserts.
- Varied other Administrative Support duties.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience using Outlook for scheduling and calendar management with the ability to determine the priority of scheduling needs and resolve scheduling conflicts as they occur.
- Ability to draft, review, edit, and proofread various correspondence using MS Word.
- Must have and use excellent oral and written communications skills, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Must be organized with great attention to detail.
