Administrative Secretary | Temporary position $18-$19/hr. (35 hours/week) | On-Site Upland, PA
This is an opportunity for a self-starter to join a dynamic team at a higher-education institute as an Administrative Secretary, providing crucial support to several leaders in a fast-paced environment.
A day in the life of a Administrative Secretary
  • Serve as first point of contact for telephone or in-person requests for assistance
  • Provide administrative support for several leaders and departments
  • Process all invoices for payment including all approval steps
  • Manage all administrative logistics including but not limited to office supplies, break room supplies and PPE supplies
  • Manage and plan projects for parking and special campus events
  • Employee records management
  • Project management as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements for the Administrative Secretary position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years in secretarial or support role required
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven track record of dedication to customer service
  • Demonstrated experience in expense tracking and budget controls
  • Creative approach to problem solving
