Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant for the Engineering Department is the hub of communication for our Design department with responsibility for contacting design leads and scheduling design consultations. The Administrative Assistant for the Engineering Department electronically tracks and follows up on the remaining phases of a project to ensure there are completed plans by established deadlines. The Administrative Assistant for the Engineering Department communicates with design clients from beginning of a project to the final completion.
Position Responsibilities
- Oversees project updates, communicates information to clients, contactors, and designers to ensure the plans are continually progressing through completion.
- Updates and tracks activities in PipeDrive, assigning follow-up or approvals to proceed as appropriate.
- Responsible for releasing proposals and completing orders.
- Respond to emails addressing potential leads, existing client updates, or internal organizational updates and communications.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with various forms of office software and equipment.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Ability to be flexible and creative.
- Takes initiative and willing to come up with solutions.
- Experience with phone systems including multiple lines.
Minimum Qualifications
- HS Diploma or GED required.
- 2 to 3 years of working in an office setting.
- 1 year working on phone systems or multiple lines.
- 1 year sales experience preferred.
- Minimum of 40 words per minute typing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
