We're searching for a diligent office assistant to provide administrative support. You’ll be responsible for responding to all complaints and questions in a friendly and timely manner, implementing office standards to streamline our processes, scheduling appointments, and company trips, ordering office equipment, and marketing our brand through community events and print and digital mediums. Responsibilities: • Strengthen existing abilities and gain new ones by participating in training opportunities • Help build online marketing, brochures, email campaigns, etc. that highlight our services • Research, Gather, and Process Product Information from Vendor visits, vendor websites, and vendor correspondence • Travel to suppliers at least twice per month • Meet with supplier and photograph product and gather all information pertaining to that product including pricing • Document products in Assistant Files and photos in All Photos using GES pre-determined inventory numbering system • Determine the selling price in conjunction with the supervisor • Add product to Grocery Equipment Sales Website. This also includes monitoring and removing the product from the website that is no longer available • Develop a familiarity with Product Manufacturers and products including basic technical details and specifications • Develop and maintain Product Specification Sheets files • Responsible for communicating with suppliers to determine the availability of inventory in conjunction with the sales proposal process. Develop familiarity with suppliers' shipping policies and procedures (crating, palletizing charges, etc.) • Retrieve mail and make bank deposits as needed Qualifications: • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized • High school diploma or GED required, some college experience preferred • Enjoys talking with customers and can communicate through verbal and written channels • Navigates computer programs with ease to provide a quick front-desk experience for customers • Candidate must possess strong professional, interpersonal, and communication skills as well as an Associate’s degree in business or related fields • Attention to detail, accuracy, and strong math skills are vital in this position • Technical equipment background would be helpful but not critical • General knowledge of MS Office required including Excel and PowerPoint Compensation: $25,000 yearly
