The Administrative Operations Manager (AOM) will work as a member of the company's leadership team. The AOM will work across the regional departments to address issues of productivity and efficiency and develop processes of improving each of that region and will report to the Director of Operations (DOO) in headquarters.
At the discretion of executive management, an Administrative Operations Manager may be assigned to a certain region and/or for a certain period due to its geographical distance and/or size of the regional office from headquarters. Therefore, some regional offices may not warrant an AOM.
The AOM is the professional responsible for handling the Administrative Operations of a region. They occupy a leadership position and manage all aspects of administrative and support services within the region. They coordinate, plan, direct, and conduct required services as directed regarding the Administrative Operations as follows but not limited to; human resources, administration, accounting, procurement, training, and project assignments.
The AOM will conduct evaluations of processes within the company to improve efficiency, and will handle direct supervision of the Office Supervisor, Operations Assistants, and Procurement staff. Will work with the Field Operations Manager (FOM) and associated Field Service Supervisors to create efficient structures and processes under the management direction of the Director of Operations, Director of Human Resources, and Controller.
The work environment for the AOM is in the office/shops, although may require at times some field observations. They may travel to meet with external partners at headquarters. Their work also involves internal coordination and communication among different departments and teams. They will spend a lot of time on their feet, observing various operations and staff. They will also hold internal meetings.
As a leader in our company, their peers include department managers and supervisors. They will likely work with several departments and their responsibilities might extend throughout the company into headquarters. Although they work business hours, as a company leader in operations, they may often receive communications after hours that may require action, such as sending emails or making calls after work hours.
