Job Summary
This person manages the budget for the Richards College of Business to include annual operating, personal services, summer school, grants and foundation budgets; is responsible for oversight of all human resources management functions for the college including submission of all hiring documents; and is responsible for oversight of the daily operations of the Richards College of Business Dean's office.
Responsibilities
Budget Management and Oversight - 45
Coordinates, plans, prepares, allocates and verifies funds for the Richards College of Business Dean's office and department units' annual operating budgets, personal services budgets, budget amendments, summer school budgets, Foundation accounts, Donor Agreements, and Scholarships. Prepares reports and analysis for planning purposes.
Personnel - 25
Responsible for oversight of all aspects of HR Management for the Dean's Office and department units in the College and includes oversight of all hiring process for fulltime faculty and staff, part-time and adjunct faculty, and graduate assistants and student assistants in the College.
Records Maintenance & Management - 20
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records for all faculty and staff in the Richards College of Business; maintain and provide various data to support college leadership such as enrollment reports and accreditation related data; and manage other records as needed to support the operations of the Richards College of Business.
Project Coordination - 10
Provides budgetary oversight and human resources management for all grants; and coordinates funding, resource allocation and verifies appropriate hiring eligibility for all graduate assistants within the College.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Other Required Qualifications
Basic understanding of accounting and budgetary rules, proficient with Excel spreadsheets, detail oriented and good organizational skills are required. Excellent interpersonal skills and good supervisory and social skills are required. Knowledge of and demonstrated ability with MS Office software suite, particularly Excel and Word. Must be a good self-manager and possess the ability to work with minimal supervision. Good communication skills and the ability to relate to university and external entities.

Minimum of two years budget management experience OR a combination of education and experience

Proposed Salary
$65,000-$70,000 annually
