RESPONSIBILITIES
• Schedule, plan, and coordinate events, meetings, and conferences.
• Establish, monitor, and coordinate program timelines, ensuring the prompt delivery of project milestones.
• Arrange and coordinate logistics, prepare materials, and ensure smooth execution of meetings and events.
• Support the annual agenda program, the advisory body and education committee nominations, and other committees and programs supported by JCS. Abide by strict confidentiality requirements of the nomination process.
• Assist in tracking and monitoring the unit budgets, procurements, and other fiscal services.
• Prepare contracts and expense reports. Review and process various invoices, travel claims, travel advances, and travel exceptions, hotel room blocks, and be proficient in fiscal policies and procedures.
• Assist the principal manager with coordination and fulfillment of special projects for the unit, and provide backup support to associate analysts and other Administrative Coordinators.
• Collect, enter, and maintain data in relevant database systems, and format data for reporting purposes.
• Coordinate ADA access assistance including reviewing requests to determine appropriate agency response to reasonable accommodations and monitoring, logging, and replying to all messages in the ADA inbox.
• Handles the service of process, incoming mail, and purchasing and maintenance of all general office supplies.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will be expected to work in the Judicial Council's San Francisco or Sacramento office; hybrid work options for employees who live in areas surrounding this location may be considered.

OVERVIEW
The Judicial Council of California is accepting applications for the position of Administraitve Coordinator for Judicial Council Support in the Judicial Council and Trial Court Leadership unit.
We are seeking a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills to join our team. The Administrative Coordinator provides highly specialized administrative support to the Judicial Council, the Executive and Planning Committee, trial court leadership, and the council's advisory bodies. This critical position will perform a wide range of administrative, logistical, and program support activities, contributing to the efficient functioning of our unit, meeting crucial timelines, and ensuring seamless operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
Three (3) years of administrative support experience including some experience in area(s) of assignment (such as accounting, writing/editing, database/spreadsheets, direct support to upper
management, etc.).
OR
Associate's degree, preferably in area(s) of assignment, and one (1) year of administrative support experience including some experience in area(s) of assignment (such as accounting, writing/editing,
database/spreadsheets, direct support to upper management, etc.). Additional directly related experience and/or education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
OR
One year as an Administrative Specialist, Facilities Specialist, or Fiscal Services Specialist with the Judicial Council of California or one year of experience performing the duties of a class comparable
in the level of responsibility to that of an Administrative Specialist, Facilities Specialist, or Fiscal Services Specialist in a California Superior Court or California state-level government entity.
Desirable Qualifications:
• Ability to function in a high-volume, high-visibility team and make few to no mistakes in work product, consistently and effectively managing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Effective communicator, able to communicate across broad, diverse populations.
• Thoughtful and deliberative with an eye for process improvement.
• Understanding of and ability to apply customer service principles.
• Proper use of English grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Proficient in Excel, MSWord, Outlook.
• Basic experience in the purchasing of goods and services.
