Physical Requirements:Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs. Intermittent job related travel.
Shift:Monday–Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours/week)
Job Summary:The Community and Economic Development Initiative of Kentucky, an entity housed within the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment, is hiring a Business Manager to support its growing portfolio of externally funded projects and programs. CEDIK’s team is comprised of 13 full-time staff and is led by faculty in the Department of Agricultural Economics and Community and Leadership Development. This individual will maintain fiscal and procedural oversight of State, Federal, Income, Gift, Enrichment, Endowment, and other CEDIK account. This person will work directly with the CEDIK Executive Director to develop budgets, and to forecast expenditures and fund balances to ensure maximum efficient and appropriate use of funds. In addition, the successful candidate will maintain knowledge of College and University travel and purchasing procedures. Most importantly, the new Business Manager will model and promote excellent customer service and contribute to a vibrant team.
