Responsibilities
The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Value Opportunities team in the New York City location and the Assistant Portfolio Manager of the Private Assets team.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering, screening and managing incoming phone calls, faxes and mail;
- Maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, and conference calls;
- Drafting correspondence and memos, and assisting in preparing presentations;
- Arranging and preparing travel arrangements and itineraries;
- Reviewing, preparing and managing expense reports;
- Updating, revising and reviewing the quarterly compliance reports and maintaining the signature requirements;
- Maintaining the filing system;
- Printing out various periodicals, articles and online journals and distributing them to the group; and
- Performing other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience, some experience within financial services preferred;
- Outstanding follow-up and organizational skills with a strong attention-to-detail;
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks;
- Possess analytical skills and the ability to manage project-based work; and
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Base Salary Range
$60,000 - $100,000 + discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits package
