This position will be working for Quality Flooring, LLC, a local flooring company.
We are looking to employ a highly organized and responsible Office/Administrative Assistant to join the growing team at Quality Flooring, LLC. In this position, the incumbent will provide customer service including identifying and resolving customer complaints, greeting customers, answering phones, building relationships with customers, and thanking customers for their business. The person in this position will also perform general clerical tasks, submit customer sales orders and sort mail, as well providing general support to our Quality Flooring team by preparing documents, organizing files, and keeping the office organized and tidy.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Overview of responsibilities:
- Welcome and direct all customers, contractors and visitors to the appropriate contact
- Submit customer sales orders
- Assist with daily filing
- Maintain cleanliness of lobby and other common areas
- Sort outgoing and incoming mail/packages
- Direct all phone calls using a multi-line phone system
- Provide assistance to current and prospective customers
- Accept and process fees and payments
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
Education and Experience:
Experience working in property management or leasing is preferred.
- Knowledge of and experience in the flooring business
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (1 year experience required)
- One year of experience as an administrative/office assistant preferred
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong understanding of business operations
- High school diploma or GED

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Compensation: $17 - $20 per hour (based on qualifications). There is unlimited potential for growth within the company.
