SalaryPart Time Front desk office assistant for a small, fast paced, outpatient psychiatric and therapeutic program within Every Child’s Hope array of services. This program serves children and families seeking psychiatric and mental health care. We are looking for an outgoing, team oriented, people person to join our office. Applicant must be willing to learn, able to multi-task, able to work under pressure, and have strong communication skills.
Some knowledge of medical office is preferred but not required. Experience with an EMR, including prescription refill requests and pre-authorizations is preferred. Duties include answering phone calls and returning messages, verifying patient demographics, sending/collecting paperwork, working providers schedules, faxing, scanning, working one on one with psychiatrists and other administrative staff. No weekend and no nights, but some flexibility with work schedule.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS:
- High school diploma plus work experience required.
- Ability to work with families who may be experiencing stressful or traumatic psychiatric situations.
- Ability to participate as an effective team member in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task while maintaining accurate and detailed work.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, on telephone and in writing.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and clients in a friendly, helpful, and courteous manner.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 per week
