Xavier University's School of Education is seeking an Administrative Assistant to be a supportive force to our team and processes. Specifically, the assistant will support the Montessori Teacher Education Program and the School of Education. The ideal person for the job will be a problem solver with excellent communication skills and impeccable attention to detail. The ability to multitask, manage complex schedules, and meet changing deadlines is essential to the position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position is responsible for assisting the program director, co-directors for the School of Education and faculty with various tasks. The responsibilities for this position may include:
budget oversight,
supporting students and faculty,
assisting with assessment and accreditation requirements,
assisting with class schedules,
day-to-day office management such as providing direct administrative support, scheduling meetings, and maintaining email correspondences.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's Degree preferred.
At least 3 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
