Summary of Work
The Administrative Assistant I acts as the main receptionist of the North Dakota Office of Attorney General as well as act as an Administrative Assistant to the Finance Division and other duties assigned. As the front face of the office, the successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast-pace environment and excels in multi-tasking, they must have a strong ability to read and relate to people and varying personalities, and have the ability to remain calm while assisting guests and callers with difficult concerns and questions.
In addition to the monthly salary, this position includes fully paid health insurance for employee and family, the option to participate in employee-paid dental and vision for employee and family, participation in the state NDPERS defined contribution retirement plan as well as the option to participate in the 457 deferred compensation plan, the option to contribute to a medical spending account, and earning annual and sick leave.
Employees in this position are eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
This position will start April 15, 2024.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree with emphasis in office related functions or customer service and one-year experience; or high school diploma (or GED) and three years of experience in appropriate function. Must successfully complete the interview process, reference checks, criminal record checks, and standard background check.
