We're hiring an Administrative Assistant. This is a home-office based position. The ideal candidate will live in the Spring, TX area.

ResponsibilitiesThis position will provide support to members of our development team and includes manage of customer donor records, entering donor and donation information into the customer databases - Dynamics and Auction Pay, building donor receipts, running reports, and providing direct field support - such as customer service, training, and troubleshooting issues.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Respond and process requests from shared inbox appropriately and timely.
- Data entry of donor and donation information.
- Process donors thank-you letter/receipts.
- Creation of graphics projects as needed using Canva.
- Preparation of and sending out mailings, i.e., donor receipts.
- Capture and track RSVP/contact information.
- Track updates to mailing lists, contact information, etc.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in office administration, including general clerical skills (e.g., basic computer knowledge, email etiquette, email organization, filing, typing, copying, telephone etiquette and office operations).
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams. Knowledge of MS Word mail-merging feature is a plus.
- Ability to quickly learn new and sophisticated software - experience with Greater Giving or similar nonprofit fundraising software is a plus.
- Ability to travel 8-10 times per year with travel expenses paid by American Heart Association.
- Ability to focus on a detailed, potentially tedious task for several hours while ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Dedication to complete and accurate data, as well as accurate spelling/grammar.
- Ability to collaborate with external and internal customers in a friendly, professional manner via phone or email.
- Ability to work in a team environment (e.g., effective interpersonal and customer relations skills).
- Reliable, high-speed (usually 3-5 megabits) hardwired internet connection, as well as dedicated workspace, is required.
