Westchester Community College was founded in 1946 as the New York State Institute of Applied Arts and Sciences in White Plains. In 1957, the County of Westchester bought the 360-acre John Hartford estate in Valhalla and designated 218 acres for the community college. Job Description:
The Early Childhood and Childhood Education Curricula seek adjunct faculty members. Duties and responsibilities include teaching courses and participating in the work of the curriculum and department.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a Master's degree in the field to be taught and one year of classroom teaching experience is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Three years of classroom teaching experience strongly preferred.
Additional Information:
POSITION EFFECTIVE: Fall 2024
HOURLY RATE OF PAY: $82.57 per hour. No benefits.
