Dexerto is looking for a detail-oriented self motivated Ad Operations Associate to fill the role. Working with the Ad Operations and other cross functional teams, you will be responsible for our client's success across our brand websites, newsletters, and across our content partner distribution landscape. This success will be directly proportional to your ability to communicate with the internal team, approve, set up, traffic, optimise, deliver, and report on Dexerto's direct digital marketing campaigns. You will also be involved in the design and consult on campaign setup to help reach and execute on our clients' media KPIs. This position is remote, with the option to work East or West coast hours.
The ideal candidate will have experience of trafficking campaigns on sell-side platforms like Google Ad Manager (DFP). Experience with media buying tools such as DV360 or other DSPs to serve ad campaigns on behalf of clients is a plus. Even better if you are a fan of gaming culture.
Success in this role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and people skills. The ability to be solution-oriented and to communicate effectively at multiple levels both internally and within client agency businesses. The individual should be self-motivated, have the ability to work both independently and in teams, and balance a workload that consists of detail-oriented digital campaign execution processes. Attention to detail and the ability to remain focused under pressure are key capabilities in this role.
A Typical Week Includes
- Utilise 3rd party ad tags ranging from simple creative setups, including standard desktop display, mobile, and 1x1 tracking, to more intricate creative setups, including but not limited to video, native, and custom creative to accurately traffic and manage media execution across sites and platforms.
- Consistently deliver thorough campaign and creative QA and troubleshooting services for ad-hoc internal and client tagging, tracking, and reporting issues.
- Become the expert on our internal site specs and product offerings.
- Translate marketing requirements into technical solutions and requirements and vice versa.
- Collaborate with multiple departments such as Product and Integrated Marketing to execute and monitor all custom elements per campaign.
- Reconcile billable media for all activations across platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) is desirable
- Understanding of marketing KPI's preferred
- Prior experience trafficking in an ad server (GAM, DV360, boostr)
Eligibility Requirements
- Desire to work in the entertainment media industry which requires availability during weekends if we are supporting a live event or receive urgent off hour requests
- Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
- Experience in the language of digital media: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs ATP Bookend, etc.
- Experience in the language of online measurement: uniques, pageviews, visits, referrers, Nielsen, tracking etc.
- Experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel (including formulas))
- Desire to learn and grow at a growing company
- Basic knowledge of HTML and ActionScript
- Experience taking screenshots, cropping, and basic image editing
- Experience compiling reporting and building wrap up decks
- Keen problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent client relationship & interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
