Activity Director
Do you enjoy working with the senior population? Rose Linn Vintage Place is currently hiring an Activity Director. Be the mastermind behind our facility’s life enrichment program and make a difference in the lives of others.
Must have a clean driving record.
Qualifications:
- Experience with seniors preferred.
- Candidates should exhibit compassion, an energetic personality and creativeness in providing therapeutic activities for our residents.
- Must be dependable and able to maintain a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug testing and criminal records background check.
- Some experience in social or recreation programming is preferred, or experience working in a healthcare setting.
Key Job Duties/Skillset:
- Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Activity Department to assure that an ongoing program of activities is designed to meet the interests and wellbeing of each resident.
- Develop and promptly distribute a monthly activities calendar and newsletter for residents and family members.
- Coordinate and schedule outside vendors and presenters.
- Create and perform activities that engage each resident.
- Participation in community event planning with the marketing staff.
- Making routine visits with residents/participating in the development of resident care plans.
- Planning, preparing, and operating under the Activities budget.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
