This position is responsible for the leadership, direction, administration and support of Guest Engagement operations. This may include Activities, Recreation, Events (some which involve food and beverage operation). This position operates with limited supervision by resort senior leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

Provides leadership, direction and support for Guest Engagement, including the supervision, training and development of team members. Creates/executes onsite guest activities and events. 30%
Ensures financial responsibility through revenue generation that meets and/or exceeds budget, budget management, execution of regular inventory counts and ordering, Vendor management, proper Team Member scheduling, cost control implementation, and the identification and implementation of revenue generating opportunities. 20%
Ensures compliance with all Safety and Brand Standards as well as all national and local laws, including OSHA and Food/Alcohol regulations, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. 20%
Ensures customer satisfaction through response to guest comments/requests in a timely and professional manner, setting the example of service for team members, and identification of improvements to products/services. 20%
Utilize all company systems of management and operations to record, track, monitor and manage information and data. 10%

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides leadership, direction, and support for Activities/Recreation program, including the supervision, training, and development of team members.
  • Budget management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • High School or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years recreation/event/activities or hospitality leadership experience.
  • MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • All are required. Company can provide as needed.
  • Food handling/ safety Certification as required by local/state regulations.
  • Alcohol handling/safety certification as required by local/state regulations.
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Training.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • None.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. Will be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and operate office machinery. Must be able to lift up to thirty pounds. Specific work assignments may change without notice. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor locations. Work split between a climate-controlled environment, but may be exposed to inclement weather and varying degrees of temperature on occasion.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS:

Schedules will vary depending on business needs, and may entail working nights, weekends and holidays, based on business demand. Must be flexible to work outside of departmental operating hours.
