Accounts Receivable Specialist

Are you an outgoing, self-motivated, driven individual who has the ability to pay close attention to detail and has experience with Accounts Receivable? If so, we have a position for you! We are conducting a search for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team of one of Venice’s premier employers. This position will work 40 hours a week with overtime potential! Reference and background check will be required.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Job Duties: 

• Prepare and verify customer payments and transactions
• Creates invoices according to company policy
• Maintain and update customer accounts
• Research and investigate any billing discrepancy
• Perform or record day-to-day accounting transactions
• Keep constant communication with clients and follow-up with reminders and updates.
• Generate statements or reports per request of supervisors
• Handle and manage bank deposits
• Reconcile Accounts Receivable
• Special projects, and more

Accounts Receivable Specialist Skills/Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of Accounts Receivable
• Previous experience in accounting or other related fields
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with integrated accounting programs and reporting tools, preferably NetSuite
• Solid critical thinking and analysis and attention to detail; and deadline-oriented
• Superb communications skills required
