Accounts Receivable Clerk
Job Duties and Skills (include but are not limited to):
- Receive customer checks through the mail and post to customer accounts.
- Receive customer credit card and ACH payments over the phone and post to
customer accounts.
- Prepare daily deposits and take them to the bank.
- Send out monthly statements on past due customer accounts.
- Communicate with customers and make collection calls on a daily basis.
- Reconcile customer accounts and produce reports for management and sales.
- Reconcile unapplied customer credits and payments.
Essential Job Functions-Accounts Receivable Clerk:
- Literate and proficient in writing (capable of reviewing for grammatical/logical
errors as well as comprehension); capable of editing documents, understanding
contractual and elevator concepts and jargon
- Computer Literate-Able to utilize Word, Excel and other core computer programs.
- Proficient Typing and Emailing capability.
- Attendance and punctuality critical.
- Capable of reviewing, organizing and sorting files and customer information
Procure, File, copy, and scan documents (light lifting, standing, reaching low
levels such as file drawers).
- Very light lifting.
- Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus.
- Capable of driving consistent with Bagby Elevator’s Fleet Vehicle Policy.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
