Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Duties and Skills (include but are not limited to):

• Receive customer checks through the mail and post to customer accounts.

• Receive customer credit card and ACH payments over the phone and post to

customer accounts.

• Prepare daily deposits and take them to the bank.

• Send out monthly statements on past due customer accounts.

• Communicate with customers and make collection calls on a daily basis.

• Reconcile customer accounts and produce reports for management and sales.

• Reconcile unapplied customer credits and payments.

Essential Job Functions-Accounts Receivable Clerk:

• Literate and proficient in writing (capable of reviewing for grammatical/logical

errors as well as comprehension); capable of editing documents, understanding

contractual and elevator concepts and jargon

• Computer Literate-Able to utilize Word, Excel and other core computer programs.

• Proficient Typing and Emailing capability.

• Attendance and punctuality critical.

• Capable of reviewing, organizing and sorting files and customer information

Procure, File, copy, and scan documents (light lifting, standing, reaching low

levels such as file drawers).

• Very light lifting.

• Experience with Great Plains accounting software a plus.

• Capable of driving consistent with Bagby Elevator’s Fleet Vehicle Policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
