Accounts Payable Supervisor

Accounting & Finance – Virginia Beach, VA

The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations and supervise the Accounts Payable team. This position is onsite Monday-Friday in our Virginia Beach Corporate Headquarters.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required (five plus years preferred) Working knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and accounting software, preferably Epicor
• Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong ability to supervise, train and motivate a small staff
• Detailed with strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to organize, prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently as well as be an effective member of a team
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to establish professional rapport with all levels of CBN staff and outside public
• Flexible with ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines
