Accounts Payable Specialist

Coaston Homes is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to provide support to the accounting and other office departments for a homebuilding company that sells high-quality, affordable single-family homes in Southwest Florida. The right candidate will participate in the generation of the company’s financial reports, reconciliation of ledgers, issuance of checks, completion of analyses of expenditure accounts, track vendor insurance and other tasks.

Duties, Responsibilities and Conduct

• Assisting in processing Accounts Payable, managing lien releases and tracking insurance certificates
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, collaboration, multi-tasking, time management, prioritization skills
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality is expected
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated, positive attitude with energy and willingness to learn
• Assisting with general office work, answering telephones, greeting people
• Scheduling meetings, organizing, filing and maintaining files and records
• IT-related and social media knowledge
• Other duties, as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Strong organization skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to utilize smart phone, tablet, and laptop
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment
• Must be flexible and agile
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Team player ready to perform other duties, as assigned
• Must be able to pass background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
