Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft AX for Accounts Payable functions, possess strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to handle various aspects of vendor account management. The role involves entering manual vendor invoices, reconciling monthly statements, addressing payment discrepancies within the EDI system, and maintaining positive communication with both internal colleagues and external vendors.

Responsibilities:

• Enter manual vendor invoices.
• Reconcile monthly statements and accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers and vendors, both in person and via email.
• Manage vendor accounts, demonstrating strong analytical skills.
• Utilize Accounts Payable experience to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
• Proficiently use Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, for various tasks.
• Assist with check-runs.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong analytical skills for effective vendor account management.
• Ability to communicate positively with co-workers and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Word and Excel.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to internal software programs.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to resolve payment discrepancies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
